About 1.5 times the size of the spring is a good rule of thumb.

However, the elongation of the spring is only a guide, and it is not necessary to measure the length of the spring at the time of installation.

Excessive spring tension (too much tension on the wire) will weaken the spring's ability to return to its original position over time, and may cause the spring to lose its springiness.

Over tensioning will also cause the bird to stop. Ideally, the wire should be taut enough so that it sinks moderately when touched.

Screw type varies depending on the mounting side.

For concrete frame: SUS 4×32 screws, with 3.2 mm bottom hole, depth 35 mm.　

For hollow shade tree and other structures: SUS 4mm tapping screw, 3.0mm hole in the lower hole.

For thick plate of frame: M4 bolt and nut, hole diameter φ5.0

Watertight sheet (foam rubber) will be 0.3 to 0.4 mm thick after tightening.

Be sure to install the support rod (where screws can be fastened) about 30-40 mm inward from the top of the structure.

If this is difficult, rotate the base 90 degrees and extend the pillar outward.

The inside of the spring grip is made of a rust-resistant material, but rust may occur depending on the installation location and environment.
